Design-Shout-Out #5 and #6

Sorry... I realize this is a little late for this assignment, but I did not realize there were more DSOs until now.

Here is the humorous advertising.

"Titanic Fail"

And here is the design for excellent photo manipulation.

"Man flipping through face"
My senior button design.

Originally I had some textures in the background but then I decided to create a pattern instead. I also tried to use the same font as the "Aloha" for the other two words.

Here is my design shout-out. I chose this package because the color scheme selection in this image appeals to me

Design Shout-outs #2 and #3

So now that I actually understand what the design shout-out assignment is...

And even though I am a bit late for posting these, here are my shout-outs.

Color Schemes:

City

I know this piece has a combination of both warm and cool colors, but I think they way they are arranged, as well as the shapes in the piece make it a very interesting design.
This piece makes me think of a large metropolis ablaze... Kinda morbid.

Textures:

weird metallic faces

I love the strange metallic texture that the artist's combination of colors seems to give the face. Despite the abstract nature of this, I feel as though I could just reach out and feel the smooth face.

For my mesh project, I decided to try a lamp. In retrospect, the mesh tool was not terribly useful for this object. Most areas were pretty solid shades, and could have just used a gradient.

Here are my two Quote projects.

The first is a wood texture that I found online. I had a good quote about living life and no regrets that had an element of time travel to it. So I decided to reference Doctor Who for this one.

My second one is the texture I found myself. This texture came from a picture I took of cardboard.
